Winds Disrupt Lancashire Sea Fishing

by Jordan Russell

lancashire-news-logoUnfortunately the Lancashire seas have been largely unfishable for a few days with big westerly winds but the good news is they should have calmed down by the weekend. Before the winds arrived it was fishing quite well with plenty of small bass being caught along the coast.

Fleetwood and District Angling Club latest match was held at Stanah. As is normal for the venue there were a few gulleys and a bit of mud to contend with to get to the pegs.

The fishing was reasonable, but today we were looking for the best two flounder not a total bag catch.

There were a few eels caught and a last cast bass for Ian Mawdesley, but unfortunately these were not counters in the match.
