In a closely fought event the team from Italy pipped England by one point to lift the gold medal. Croatia finished in the bronze medal position.

It the individual rankings England’s Gary Galbraith took the top spot with fellow countryman Mark Smith in third. Sinisa Budisavijevic of Croatia split the English anglers to take the silver medal.

Well done to all the anglers who competed in an extremely tight competition where they worked hard to produce individual bags of over 200 fish for the three days in some cases.
