The Angling Trust is inviting sea angling clubs interested in representing England at the 2015 23rd FIPS-M World Club Shore Angling Championships to contact them to register their interest. The competition will be held in Langebaan, South Africa from 7th – 14th November 2015.
The Angling Trust can select up to two teams each consisting of five team members and one manager, additional anglers may travel subject to an additional cost. To be eligible for consideration, clubs must be a current member of the Angling Trust and member clubs that have anglers with international experience will be favoured.
The entry cost is €3,825 per team which consists of 5 anglers plus a team manager, additional participants will cost €575 per person. Included in the cost is full board accommodation from the 7th–14th November, transport to and from the competition sites, an entertainment programme, banquet at the closing ceremony, baits for practice and competition and FIPS-M entry fees. Please note that clubs must arrange and fund their own travel to and from South Africa.
This is a fantastic opportunity to visit the beautiful South African coast to represent your club and country catching species such as Smooth Hound, Blue and Eagle Rays, Guitar Fish, Spear Nosed Skate among many others.
