Another great turnout with 22 gracing the shingle, this time to the left, rough conditions with a NE wind blowing and a cold chill in the air, winter season is certainly upon us which means whiting and dabs normally in numbers. We were not disappointed with 138 fish carded.
Top rod on the night fishing on peg 12 was Paul Thorburn finding his form again with 18 fish for 8lb 41/3oz, second podium spot goes to the ever consistent Russell Taylor with 14 fish for 6lb 1oz, and final podium spot goes to our Junior angler Jimmy Shaul Shaul with 11 fish for 5lb 12/3oz. With only a couple of blanks and some nice sized fish carded including whiting up to 37cm and dabs up to 28cm a good night was had by all.
Heaviest round was shared between Keith Shaul & Paul Thorburn both with a 37cm whiting and biggest flat was also shared between Paul Thorburn and Jimmy Shaul Shaul both with a 28cm dab.
