Running Up And Over Rig

by David Proudfoot

General Purpose Rig

Dean Booker uses this rig when fishing from height into comparatively shallow waters particularly when the sea is rough. Dean prefers the up and over leger rig to his normal long pulley rig in these conditions to prevent stronger tides lifting the baits off the seabed.

Running Up And Over Rig Components

2 x 5mm Beads

2 x Size 5 crane swivels; one of these is attached to the Imp clip

1 x Imp clip

The Rig Body
