The 2014 Harrington Cod Open takes place on Saturday 8th November with fishing between Whitehaven North Pier and Workington Blocks, although both these areas themselves are excluded from the event.
Registration takes place in the Harrington Sailing Club, North Side Harrington, Workington, Cumbria CA14 5QW from 13:00 to 16:00 hours. The four hour Penn points match commences at 16:00 hours with the weigh-in between 20:00 and 21:00 hours. This will be immediately followed by the presentation of the prizes.
The excellent prize list includes a guaranteed first prize of £1000 and £500 for the runner-up. A Junior event is incorporated with a 100% pay-out plus prizes for the top three and is sponsored by Cumbrian Angling Centre.
The competition is a two hook event and is fished to Harrington SAC rules. The senior entry fee is £20 with juniors paying £10 entry.
