The third annual Pembrokeshire Herald Charity Angling Festival will take place this year on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of October. 2015 sees the competition move from a one day / one section (shore) event to a three day / three section (boat, shore and freshwater) festival with the aim of attracting additional competitors both locally and regionally. As competitors you can look forward to fishing at your leisure in familiar marks throughout Pembrokeshire. All we ask is that you fish within permitted areas safely and observe all by laws and restrictions where applicable.
Competitors can pre-register on the offical event website, recommended to assist the organisers, or register each day at the Neyland Marina, Neyland. The selection of the benefiting charities is carried out via an internet voting system on the website and Mount Airey Autism Unit and Change Step have the majority of votes at present. Last year’s one day event raised over £1800 for CLAPA.
Full details of this excellent event indcluding the rules and prize list can be found on the Angling Festival website.
