The poor weather has restricted the numbers out fishing during the past week. The kids did manage to get out and about and showed how it’s done.
Fleetwood and District Angling Club had a lovely day mostly watching motionless rod tips at Beach Road where only eight out of twenty anglers managed to catch fish.

Today’s winner was Tim Wriglry with three small bass and a flounder for 60 points. In second place was Frank Towne with a bass for 24 points. Joint third were Hughie Porter And Alf Ingham on 22 points, a bass for Alf and a dogfish for Hughie.
Worm probably just out fished crab today and the bass were quite close in. Next week’s matcg is at Five Bar Gate with fishing from 9 till 12pm on Sunday.
