Visiting anglers took all the prizes in the latest Skegness Pier Angling Club (SPAC) match held in perfect conditions at Jacksons Corner. Top Grimsby match angler Garry Hutson once again showed his class, catching nine flatties at long range to run out easy winner with a total length of 247cm. In form Jim Robinson made his latest journey up from Kettering worthwhile, taking second place with five flatties for 118cm. Another top class Grimsby angler, Karl Nangle, filled the frame in third with three flatties measuring 86cm. Kettering’s Bob Foster won the longest flatfish prize with a nice 36cm, 1lb 3oz, flounder and Fred Donner from Withern took the longest round fish prize with a 23cm coalfish.
