Skegness Pier Angling Club – North Shore Road match 2011

RAF Waddington angler and new club member Dave Nellist was the winner of the latest Skegness Pier Angling Club match held from North Shore Road. Fishing his first ever Skegness Club match match, Dave caught a small bass and two flounders for 2lb 3oz. He made his good day complete by also winning the heaviest round fish prize for his 7oz bass and sharing the heaviest flatfish award with Alan Steadman, both with specimen 1lb flounders. Kettering’s Bob Foster followed up his last match win with a second place on this occasion, catching 3 flounders for a total of 1lb 13oz. Wrangle’s Alan Steadman framed again in third place with 2 flatfish weighing 1lb 2¾oz.

The next SPAC match will be held on Sunday 6th March from 4:30 till 8:30pm at Sandilands, with Club members fishing for the Bateman Cup.
