As part of the annual “Queenie Festival” held on the Isle of Man, Mannin Angling Club invited Ed Turnbull and Andy Copeland over to take part in their angling session. The Fishing North East team were only too happy to take up the invitation to visit the island for the first time.
There was a great turnout on the pier with both local and visiting junior anglers attending the taster session where Andy, Ed and club members passed on their cumulated knowledge and encouraged sea anglers of the future. The boys and girls of all ages enjoyed great sport and the tutors got as much enjoyment out of the event as the kids.
The organisers and Fishing Notheast received great support from the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company with their travel and enjoyed the excellent accommodation provided by the Railway Station Hotel. Like Arnie, they’ll be back.
