Despite having only been recently established members of the Norfolk Angling Club are showing that they can mix with the best in open competitions and at International level.
Kimberley Lawn is the latest to be rewarded for her results and skills as she joins up with the England Ladies shore squad for the World Championships. Founder member Dene Conway fishes for the England men’s team and Henry Randell fishes with the English Youths.
Much of their success is down to the regular coaching which takes place during the Club’s weekly Monday night matches. Young Jake Cooper recently finished 2nd in a 66 entry open event so it looks like the efforts of the senior Club members are paying off.
