Hook – The piece of the terminal tackle designed to catch and retain your fish until it is landed. Hooks may be single, doubles or trebles. There are more shapes and designs of hook out there than you can shake a stick at but they all follow the same basic pattern of an eye, shank, bend and point. Treble hooks are mainly used attached to lures.
