Sunday November 7th is date for the South Shields Open fishing from 11am till 4pm. Top prize for the heaviest fish is £500 with £300 for the heaviest bag and £50 each for the ladies, junior and heaviest flatfish.
There is a £2000 supporting prize table which includes a fishing holiday to Iceland worth £800, plus a free draw for a Reelsport Blue Thunder rod worth £290.
