Dave Cheal and Dale Edmunds from beachandboat.co.uk enjoyed a great trip out on Dale’s boat, Fish Ardour, last night in Sandown Bay, Isle of Wight.
During the early evening a host of black bream were attracted by rubby-dubby and in a period of one and a half hours the guys landed over forty bream to 3lb on cuttle and squid baits. Dave had this double shot –
After sunset and towards high water the ray gear went out and first fish on the boat was 7lb 8oz painted ray. Following the usual pout and dogs, interspersed with a few small bass, a 10lb 8oz thornback for Dale rounded off a perfect night.
