Three years to day from when he caught a 21½lb cod from Loch of Hellister Shetland angler Laurence Williamson returned for a session this afternoon.
Fishing adjacent to the road through the village with a 10ft spinning rod and fixed spool reel Laurence landed a couple of coalfish before his mackerel bait was snaffled by the monster cod. The immaculately conditioned fish weighed in at 26½lb and was returned to the sea loch after a few photos.
