Andrew Alsop, owner of White Water Charters, opted to take a chance on missing out on the blue shark and to target porbeagles off the Pembroke coast. Fortunately the crew for the day were in agreement and this proved the correct decision as Andy Griffith laded this cracking 235lb fish.
The porgie was landed and safely returned after a skillful 40 minute fight on a 16/20lb Shimano Stand-up Stick travel rod coupled with a Shimano TLD 15 reel.
