German angler Michael Eisle landed a massive, record breaking cod last Sunday, 28th April, while fishing in Breiviksfjorden on Soroya. Micheal’s fish weighed in at 47kg, 103.6lbs, measured 160cm long and beats the current record set last year by more than 5kg.
The giant fish snaffled a 375g puffin style shad fished at 7 metres above the seabed in 88 metres of water.
