North Wales Mackerel And Pollack

by David Proudfoot

Sea fishing from the rocks in north Wales today, we were after bull huss but the dogfish beat them to every bait we put in the sea.

The spinning rods came into action with plenty of mackerel and pollack to keep us busy. Retrieving feathers for mackerel proved deadly today and light rock fishing paid off.

We only take what fish we need for bait and a few fish to take home between us. It is good fun sea fishing for mackerel and for pollack.

Please take your rubbish home and help keep our coast clean.
